Do you think that running a recreational adult hockey team is simular to corporate leadership? In a draft league you can not fire players or hold the threat of withholding good ratings or merit awards. How do you think that would make the situation better or worse?
One aspect of running the team is that it requires leadership skills. Someone has to step in and organize everything. I can see where there would be many similarities.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what would make situations better or worse, seeing that everyone on the league is there on a volutary basis. I would think because of that fact, there wouldn't be many problems or the need to threaten anyone anyway.

ReplyDeleteGood point. Though every once in awhile you get Some people who do what they want and don't listen. Those situations are tricky. For the most part though, everyone is there to have fun and try to win.
